I subscribe to the idea of slow travel, so this day I took a stroll around the village we were staying in. I was able to get some really fun photos of workers in the fields, had a great Nasi Goering lunch and was convinced to buy some fruit, even though I wasn't ready to by a local shopkeeper.

See more stories and videos at http://www.travelfanatical.com
I was invited by these ladies to enter the small roadside temple in Sukawati in Bali. Their daily offerings always give me a sense of peace and it's one of the wonderful things about the Balinese culture to always give thanks and their sense of gratitude.

See more stories and videos at http://www.travelfanatical.com

I'm a native of Seattle, home of Starbucks, but nothing compares to the beautiful Bacha Coffee store in in the Singapore airport. The presentation on everything they do is outstanding, all the way down to the way they serve coffee with whipped cream, real vanilla and rock candy sugar on a stick.

You'll be awed by the stunning hand-painted stained-glass ceiling adorned in rich shades of blue and red, featuring a graceful baroque pattern.

See more stories and videos at http://www.travelfanatical.com

We had a total of four snakes inside our villa in Bali. Two were in the bedroom and two in the bathroom. The bedroom, we were only able to remove 1 and the other one, we never found. We were told they were harmless, but they were a bit unsettling.
Terry tries Durian for the first time in Bali. The fruit has a wet sock, garlic taste followed by a hint of sweetness. Every taste bud is used when eating this fruit.
Luwaks are used to create a unique coffee in Bali. The ingested coffee beans are gathered and then cleaned and boiled. After roasting it creates a really smooth coffee that is surprisingly delicious.
