Linda and I stayed at the Matahari Villas in Ubud and it was located in a small village right up against the rice patties. Every morning we would wake up and see the workers in the fields, the mountains in the distance and the sounds of roosters waking us up. It was a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of traveling and shopping for Linda’s import business.
I took a respite from our busy schedule one day and decided to do a village walk and met a few locals along the way. Hope you enjoy this look at some slow travel in Bali.
